The First Tracts of the Simon Dreisbach Family in Pennsylvania 1747-1806

This book is the very first compilation of documents about the lands that the Simon Dreisbach Sr family warranted in Northampton County, Pennsylvania and is composed of research done over a period of years by the sisters, Ardis Dreisbach Grosjean and Marcia Dreisbach Falconer. The first warrant was carried out by Jost, the oldest son of Simon Sr, in 1747, just four years after the family arrived. A few months later, his young brother, Adam, warranted land close to his brother. Two years later an ‘unknown’ John Dreisbach (who was a cousin of some degree) along with Simon Sr warranted adjacent tracts. It became clear that there was a Grand Plan to the warrants. This book describes the Grand Plan and the warrants.
