PAGE UNDER CONTRUCTION
This is a page to document OLD photos of your Dreisbach/Dresbach ancestors!
A DDFA Portrait Gallery
The idea is to send photos of Dreisbach/Dresbach ancestors, preferably as .jpg files, but we can also accept paper photos and PDF files. Send to dreisbachfamilyassociation@gmail.com. Please, no photos of living persons. All photos should have been taken at least 100 years ago, longer ago than that is fine. Please document the subjects of the photos as best you can; name, dates of birth and death, marriage information, where born, lived and died. Cemetery name if known. A very short paragraph about the person would be delightful as well.
As mentioned - we are just starting this page. It’s final format is uncertain at this point. We may have to impose a limit to the number of photos depending upon the response. To begin with, please submit no more that 8 photos.
What about photos of ancestors who are not Dreisbachs or Dresbachs? Photos of Dreisbach/Dresbach husbands or wives (who were not born as Dreisbachs/Dresbachs) are certainly fine, but lets try to keep these antique photographs relevant to our DDFA heritage. Thanks!
Also, please only send photos of people, not tombstones, houses, etc. We may eventually make a separate section on the DDFA website if there is a demand but for now, this is a Portrait Gallery. As an example, below is a picture of my 4th Great grandfather.
