The Dreisbach Families Settle in Ohio - 1801 - 1875

Due to Covid restrictions one unique opportunity presented itself: free and easy access to the microfilmed deed records held by the Mormon Library in Salt Lake City, Utah on their web site, FamilySearch.org. I created a database of Dreisbach / Dresbach / Dresback land purchases and sales in Ohio. Following the sale of each tract, which named the spouses, and later on, the children of the couples, I was able to sort out which family settled where. I started mapping those purchases in the particular Township, Range and Sections, which allowed me to find an address for the properties (or an address nearby).
I realized that I was accumulating a wealth of information that I wanted to share with other Dreisbach families. With the information in this book, you will be able to locate the property your Ohio Dreisbach ancestors purchased and drive there!
